Billing and Credits
Revision: September 19, 2026. Effective date: September 18, 2026. Contact: support@baseloados.com. All amounts are United States dollars.
1. Product status and separate accounts
MCP access fees, MCP usage balances, Terminal subscriptions and Terminal AI credits are separate products. A payment for one is not authorization to charge for another. The public Map is planned as a free product. The Terminal and separate API product remain in development; an announced price is not a currently available subscription.
The MCP Metering Schedule, MCP Service Catalogue and Data Export Schedule form part of the Early Discount purchase disclosures. The meter must be implemented and verified before MCP activation; the advance access fee does not buy immediate usage.
2. MCP rates and dollar balances
| Plan | One-time access fee | First 1,000 credits/week | Credits 1,001-10,000/week | Credits above 10,000/week |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | $0 | $0.006 | $0.004 | $0.0025 |
| Early Discount | $500 | $0.002 | $0.002 | $0.002 |
| Discount | $700 | $0.0025 | $0.0025 | $0.0025 |
Early Discount pricing applies for 12 calendar months from the purchaser's individual Activation Date under the Purchase Terms, then becomes $0.0025 in every band. Access fees contain no usage balance.
Customers fund a dollar balance, not a fixed quantity of MCP credits. Credits measure usage; their applicable dollar charge is deducted from that balance. Standard bands are graduated and reset each Monday at 00:00 UTC. For example, 5,000 credits within one week cost $22 at Standard rates, $10 at the introductory Early Discount rate, or $12.50 at the Discount rate. Access fees and applicable taxes are excluded from these examples.
The balance is not a bank account, investment or interest-bearing deposit. That description does not waive any applicable stored-value, gift-certificate, refund or unclaimed-property protections.
3. MCP metering schedule
Credits equal measured compute-seconds divided by 2, plus delivered bytes divided by 1,048,576. Components are additive and fractional; requests are not rounded up to whole credits. The MCP Metering Schedule defines the measurement boundaries, errors, cancellations, retries and spending protections. Idle hosting is not charged as request compute. Usage is assigned to the weekly band at execution start; binding rates and the maximum reservation are determined before execution, and unused reservations are released at settlement.
The accepted meter and purchased discount apply together. We may not preserve the nominal rate while enlarging the billable unit count for equivalent work. A change requires the customer's express agreement or a documented, independently checkable conversion preserving the purchased economic benefit, with an option to retain the accepted terms or receive the applicable refund for undelivered prepaid service. A web-page amendment alone is insufficient.
4. Authorization and spending protection
Depositing money authorizes deduction only for properly authorized usage under the accepted terms, within the available balance and the customer's configured limits. A request's binding rate and authorized maximum must be determined before execution; a reservation is not itself a completed charge. We must release unused reservations and provide itemized settlement. We will not charge more than the authorized maximum without renewed authorization or bill a customer for overruns caused by our failure to enforce a configured limit.
Automatic top-up is not enabled or authorized by account creation, an access-fee purchase or a manual deposit. Before it is offered, the customer must separately authorize the trigger threshold, replenishment amount, payment method, spending ceiling and reset period. That authorization must be revocable without obstructing cancellation. No auto-top-up or recurring-payment authority is supplied by these terms alone.
5. Balance lifecycle and refunds
Purchased dollar balances and purchased AI credits do not expire, and we do not impose inactivity or dormancy fees. Account suspension does not confiscate them. Amounts properly incurred before cancellation remain payable, but a disputed amount must be identified and investigated rather than treated as automatic forfeiture.
Promotional balances must be recorded separately and spent before purchased balances where both are eligible for the same request; among eligible promotions, the earliest disclosed expiry is used first. Promotional expiration or eligibility conditions must be disclosed when granted and may not consume or shorten purchased value. Promotional value is not represented as money paid by the customer. Mandatory redemption rights are unaffected.
Balances are account-specific and are not transferable between customers or products unless expressly offered or required by law. On account closure or permanent service discontinuation, unused purchased dollar balances are refunded at their remaining dollar value. Purchased AI credits are refunded at the actual price paid for the unused portion of each purchase, not a later list price. Promotional value is excluded unless law or the particular offer requires otherwise.
Refunds are initiated under the Purchase Terms' 10-business-day procedure, including original-method and failed-method handling, or sooner where law requires. There is no blanket prohibition on cash redemption. Applicable small-balance and other mandatory redemption rights apply regardless of how a balance is named.
6. Terminal subscriptions: not yet offered
The currently planned Lower plan is $10 monthly or $96 annually, with 10 saved dataset slots and 5 comparisons per dataset. The planned Upper plan is $100 monthly or $960 annually, with 250 slots and unlimited comparisons per dataset. Annual prices are 20% below twelve monthly payments. Deleting a dataset frees a slot. MCP payments do not purchase either subscription.
No recurring subscription may be sold until its accepted order states the initial charge, renewal frequency and billing date, automatic-renewal status, cancellation method, access after cancellation, annual-plan refund policy, and the effective dates and proration for upgrades and downgrades. No annual refund or proration rule is established by this draft. These choices require approval before launch.
Online enrollment must provide an unobstructed online cancellation method and a retainable acknowledgment. Recurring charges require separate affirmative consent; consent records and required renewal, promotional-expiry and price-change notices must be retained and delivered as applicable. A price change must be disclosed before it takes effect and must not alter a prepaid period retroactively. Merely saving a payment method does not authorize renewal.
7. Terminal AI: distinct and not yet sold
The planned benefit is 50,000 promotional AI credits once upon becoming a paid Terminal subscriber. The proposed retail denomination is $1 for 10,000 AI credits, with $10, $20, $50, $100 and $1,000 purchase amounts and a $10 minimum.
These quantities are not a complete or operative token meter. Before AI credits are sold, the accepted schedule must identify supported models and tokenization, whether input, output, cached input, reasoning and system-generated tokens count, any different multipliers, and the treatment of retries, failures and cancellations. A model provider's bill is not itself a customer authorization. Hidden work cannot be introduced as an undisclosed charge. No AI-credit sale is authorized until that schedule and spending controls are finalized.
8. Questions and corrections
Customers may request an explanation or correction of a charge through the contact above. We will preserve the relevant accepted rates, meter version and usage record for resolving the request, while minimizing retained query content. A billing dispute does not waive statutory payment or privacy rights. The separate API product has no current price or payment offer.
